Saturday in Nurnberg

It was a amazing saturday morning, me and ken woke up at 4am in the morning to help out at Kraft Bakery. We had a great time preparing and helping a bit here and there.........it's fun to experience the so called "family business" enviroment.
Everything was ready before 6am, this is the time for business. It's a wonderful experience to see people come to buy breads,buns and cakes in this early hour. All those fresh baked delicious breads, buns and cakes look so tempting and yes they taste "mama mia".

Business was so good and was creating traffic jam at the main entrance to Kraft Bakery. People come and go........ Was told that this phenomenon only happen on every Saturday. Why ? Heheheh.....please ask me. :P

We take a short nap and wake up at around 2pm to feed on our brunch for the day.
It was sausages and ham......with salad and not forgeting the home made breads and buns.
*Blurp* after eating we head to 2 level into Andreas lair to watch Germany VS Sweden on his big screen projector beamer.

Deutschland won 2-0 ,...... *prost Deutschland*

Later in the evening, we head to a feast called Sun Turn Festival. Wonder why ? It is because this week will be the longest day time in the Summer......and the day will slowly become shorter toward the Spring time. We take a nice evening walk to the area, it is located about 2km from the place we are staying. Get to know that this feast is organise by the village Fire Department.
The atmospehere at the feast is great........children having fun, nice BBQ fish and pork.....not forgeting the giant jar of beer.......hahaha. * it should be a mug....but for us it kinda like a jar.
It's time for the elder and young one in the village to get together and have fun.

Here we do the "Prost"....meaning "Cheer' in British or "Yum Seng" in Cantonese for the Malaysian.

After some drink....here come the dinner.
We had BBQ pork chop, Mmmmmmmm.......it taste so tender and juicy.
To add in is the BBQ mackerel fish......"fuiyoh" one bite.... for sure you will ask for more......it was so delicious and juicy.....will leave the fishy yummy taste inside your mind.



The mackerel fish below may look not so appealing but.....do not judge a book by it cover.
Hahahaha !!!!



To heat up the feast, at around 10.30pm the Fire Department set up a camp fire that is about 3 to 4 storeys building high. This is the most giant camp fire i had ever seen.
There is a story of old days saying couple of lover (the boy) will jump over the camp fire to show the love and "machoness" of the boy to the girl at this feast. (of course not at the peak of the fire, usually is done at the end when the fire is about to saturate).....anyone out there wanna give it a try ? sound so "macho".....hahaha.

This kind of feast will be celebrate thru out Germany in all villages. Just imagine if the picture is taken from aerial view (the giant camp fire) .....it will be like little hotspot all over Germany.

Road to Berlin !!!!

Yahoooooo!!!!
Today we are going to Berlin to watch Tunisia VS Ukraine.
We woke up at 5am to get ourself prepare for the day......took a bus to the subway station that will directly take us to the Nurnberg Airport. We are going to hop on Flydba Airline . This airline company will be the up and coming airline in Germany. Kinda like AirAsia.This airline company really look cool with it Green and Black logo.......wanna have a peep.......go to www.flydba.com

Our flight is at 8.05 am and we reach at around 9.15 am at Berlin Airport. Grab a taxi to Berlin town......"wahlao eh" (all the taxi here is a Mercedez Benz or BMW.....so sorry as there is no Proton to be spotted).

We arrive at Berlin town shortly, hmmmm what should we do ? because it is still early for our match as Tunisia VS Ukraine match will only kick off at 4pm. So it is time for us to browse around in the town. We head to a FIFA shop, some shopping mall and a few mobile shop.
I love the maple tree as they are planted along the street. This make the street so romantic and green...... but to bad it was not spring time. Suprise !!!! we found a few Perodua MYVI in the town of Berlin. Hmmm.....but it is not from Perodua.....it is Toyota Passo.

This is the biggest fussball table I had ever seen.....hehehe. Just look at the size, this is amazing.



Opssss....where is the Ukrainean fans ? Look like we miss them out......sshhhhh actually we are in Berlin to support Ukraine.

Later after all the walking around we grab some German sausages for our Brunch. Yummy...I am lovin it... also dont know why the German sausages taste so delicious over here.





Our journey continues....at Berlin Stadium. See you there -:D

Berlin Stadium !!!!

We arrived at Berlin Stadium with a cab. When we step out from the cab, we can see there is a lot of peoples walking toward the Stadium. There is a lot of those Ukrainian and Tunisia fans.....there are everywhere around you. As we walk nearer to the Stadium, we can feel the fussball spirit is within us. The atmosphere at that time is perfect and never can be describe using any words. You need to be there to feel it.....haha !!!!!

The Arrival......

Here is my flight itinerary 17th June from KL -> Bangkok -> Frankfurt -> Nuremberg

Hmmmm......so we are on air now. Travelling at a speed of 900 km/h.
The services of the air cabin is good and friendly.....but sorry guys....no lengluis.
All are aunties on air.
During the flight from KL to Bangkok was comfortable as there is a lot of empty seats around.
So we can hop around seat from seat......while enjoying free flow of red wine.

So this flight is via Bangkok, meaning we will be taking a break for around 1 hours.
firstly we are informed to stay on flight.....but later we have been instructed to leave the plane.
With nothing to do.....we just sit and people browsing.

We notice there is more and more people queuing at the security check in. later we come to know that this people will be boarding the same flight with us. A lot of "mat salleh"
OMG the plane is going to be packed. No more fun then.......

Back on flight now.......we are back to our seat. Ken is on seat A, the one at the window (that having a nice view of the 747 - 400 turbo charge engine......hehehe ).
I am on seat B.....and the instresting parts is........guess who is on seat C ?
Nah....of course there are no super star in economy class. It was just an odinary guy with a massive body size. Any idea, what is going on later ?

The "paiseh" (meaning shy in Hokkien) and funny parts is whenever we need to go to the lavatory. This guy need to stand up for us to pass by. But he is not into talking or smile....what a boring neighbour.
The journey to Frankfurt is around 12 hours. Just imagine how many times that guy need to stand up......because we drink too much and eat so much.....hahahaha !!!!

What happen later ? Sleep of course :P

We arrive at Frankfurt on the 18 June 2006, it was 6 am but over here the sky look like 12 pm in Malaysia. The Frankfurt airport is packed with people jamming in from around the world.
The custom check in was in a long queuing. What can we do ?.... but to join in the queue.
Knowing that our brother aka Andy is waiting for our safe arrival, we give him a call on our arrival in Frankfurt (What a nice bro, he even sponsor us a German prepaid card to enable us to make call)


We notice that the shop is already open at this .......to be continue........

The long awaited day have come true.....

It's was Saturday morning....woke up @ 8 am, when to bed last night at around 4 am after watching the match between Mexico Vs Angola. (Result 0 - 0, this is kinda boring hehe....)
Even though just slept for 4 hours but i feel so fresh and desperate because today is the day....i will be flying to Germany.

My flight is @ 12.45 pm, i reached PIA ?...around 12 pm. Hmmm.....it is Penang International Airport lah. Was late and rushing, but when at the counter for check in....i was informed that the flight will be delay to 2.20 pm. Aiseh....but what to do ? This is MAS...hoho !!!


At last i reached KLIA at around 3.15 pm, without delay i proceed to the LRT transit to continue my journey to Bandar Tasik Selatan to meet up with my KL brother aka Ken. He pick me up with his SLK (Super Little Kancil.....lol). Reach his home safely in Salak South, we had a great time chatting like......there is no tomorrow.......hahaha. At the same time he is busy like a bee packing all his stuff......lucky his luagage is not that big enough to fit in his whole room......*if not......hahaha*

We are ready to make a move. me and ken is ready to continue our journey. We took LRT back to KLIA.....reach there about 7.10 pm. We hurry to the Lufthansa check in counter to get our tickets as our flight is @ 9.30 pm. The Lufthansa counter is a fever starter, it is decorated with football field on the carpet and there is balls everywhere........to set the heat on.

We grab burgers @ McD on our way before heading to the security check in. *Yummy*
The burgers taste so nice......wonder why ?
