Samba in Town !!!

After the Jail Dungeon we go to the main market where we going to watch the match between Brazil Vs Ghana. As usual the place is flooded with brazilien fans......there is not much fans from Ghana. We had original German "schnaps" meaning in German for shandy. They taste so smooth and it taste really good to quench away the thirst for the day. Opsss.....*Blurp*

Was having a great time with the Samba fans when they score the third goals.
It's Samba time.......!!!!

27 Juni in Nurnberg

Weeee.....today we go to Nurnberg town again.
It is a fine Tuesday morning.

When we reach town by train....the town was a bit calm this time. Maybe it is still early for Brazilian & Ghana fans to start the jamming party.
What for breakfast ? Hehehe....OMG it is the German sausages attack again. They taste so good and we cannot get rid of it from getting into our stomach.
So we go on window shopping around the town.
Here is some photo to feast on....hehe.
Just drop me a comment if you wold like to know more about this places.......

While waiting for Andreas to run away from work as he is going to meet us up in the town.We found a nice sculpture fountain to play on. We took some photo while waiting for Andreas.

This is me again.....trying to post

Below is Ken & his "pupeh" Jeryl....the lovely couple

How about myself ? Where is my lovely sweet heart goes ?
Stay tune....will let you guy know about it later.........

After some photo session Andreas arrived.......errrr he look a bit stress out because he need to rush to town.....after work, i think it should be escape from work.....lol + he need to wake up so early everyday in the morning to work on the family business. Anyone out there wanna help ? Andreas is looking for an assistance :P

But something really touched our heart (Me + Ken) is when he hand over his family house key for us. Now the feeling is like......yes this is our home !!!!
This is the key to our home.

So we move on from there, talking about fruit over here is marvelous.
Fresh strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, appricot, plum, kiwi and berrys.......
I need to stop here if not.....the list will go on.
Sound like a fruit maniac is on the run.

The journey continue as we plan to visit the Nurnberg Jail Dungeon later. I can feel like my hair was standing already......the spooky feeling is within me.
Here are some photo during our way to the Dungeon.

Hmmmm.....our stomach is complaing for some food now? So where should we go for lunch?
Andreas took us to a nice restaurant call "Goldenes Posthorn" claim to be the oldest sausages restaurant in town.

Our food is ready. This Restaurant serve the Original Nurnberg sausage.
The aroma was so tempting and yes the sausages is freshly BBQ from the kitchen.
"Wunderbar" !!!!

After enjoying the nice lunch we head to the Nurnberg Jail Dungeon, we need to travel underground and below lies the Jail Dungeon. The enviroment is very spooky and remind me of the past people that been jail and torture. The dungeon is very dark and creep. It is knowed that death sentence will be carry out in the public. This is a bit of the old days story. Let's the journey begun.

This is the confession chamber. There is a lot of way and accesories to make the bandits to talk and confess. This place really eerie and dark. But the photo display here is not so because was taken using flash.

Above photo is taken from the confession chamber ceiling. If you look carefully, there is a square hole on top the ceiling ? What is that for or still trying to figure out where is the hole is ? Hehehehe.......
When the torturing to confess session is carry out, a judge will be on top the ceiling as he or she will listen and record down all the detail during the confession process. It will be use for verdict on the bandits later.

This is where the bandit is kept before been taken to the public for death sentence. During the old days, only candle light is use by the warden inside the Dungeon. There is a bowl shape in the center of the room made from granite....it is use for burning wood and to keep the bandits warm before they are taken to public for death sentence.

This is where the bandit is kept before been taken to the trial in the confession chamber. Over here they are lock on both legs....as you can see from the photo. Each room will occupied by 3 bandits. There will be no Toilet or WC and further worst they cannot even move around. Just imagine with both legs lock in total darkness.

Below is the dark alley to all the chamber room..........spoooky !!!
See the different between flash and without it.

See the red chicken sign, it is for people who burn other people home down. Those people will retain in this room until the judgement day.....hehe.

The black cat is for people who tell lies and those who leak out secret so called traitors to the country.

This is the place for those that will be sentence to death to have thier last meal. Nothing is free on this world....they even need to pay for the last meal by themself. *sob*

Place for some refreshment. Fresh water from the well
Andy look so thirsty in this picture.....lol *just joking*

Welcome to the torture chamber.......just look at the accessories and gadgets they have in place to welcome the guest.

Silly me.....trying on some high tech gadgets in store. *Caution !!!* for torturing purpose only

This is where the caretaker of the chamber @ so called Supervisor of the Jail Dungeon resting area.

Another resting area.....but this is for those people who successfully bring back the bandits to take a rest and have some beer before leaving the Jail Dungeon * THE END *

Saturday in Nurnberg

It was a amazing saturday morning, me and ken woke up at 4am in the morning to help out at Kraft Bakery. We had a great time preparing and helping a bit here and there.........it's fun to experience the so called "family business" enviroment.
Everything was ready before 6am, this is the time for business. It's a wonderful experience to see people come to buy breads, buns and cakes in this early hour. All those fresh baked delicious breads, buns and cakes look so tempting and yes they taste "mama mia".

Business was so good and was creating traffic jam at the main entrance to Kraft Bakery. People come and go........ Was told that this phenomenon only happen on every Saturday. Why ? Heheheh.....please ask me. :P

We take a short nap and wake up at around 2pm to feed on our brunch for the day.
It was sausages and ham......with salad and not forgeting the home made breads and buns.
*Blurp* after eating we head to 2 level into Andreas lair to watch Germany VS Sweden on his big screen projector beamer.

Deutschland won 2-0 ,...... *prost Deutschland*

Later in the evening, we head to a feast called Sun Turn Festival. Wonder why ? It is because this week will be the longest day time in the Summer......and the day will slowly become shorter toward the Spring time. We take a nice evening walk to the area, it is located about 2km from the place we are staying. Get to know that this feast is organise by the village Fire Department.
The atmospehere at the feast is great........children having fun, nice BBQ fish and pork.....not forgeting the giant jar of beer.......hahaha. * it should be a mug....but for us it kinda like a jar.
It's time for the elder and young one in the village to get together and have fun.

Here we do the "Prost"....meaning "Cheer' in British or "Yum Seng" in Cantonese for the Malaysian.

This picture is funny.....look like i'm crawling out from the mug......

After some drink....here come the dinner.
We had BBQ pork chop, Mmmmmmmm.......it taste so tender and juicy.
To add in is the BBQ mackerel fish......"fuiyoh" one bite.... for sure you will ask for more......it was so delicious and juicy.....will leave the fishy yummy taste inside your mind.

The mackerel fish below may look not so appealing but.....do not judge a book by it cover.
Hahahaha !!!!

To heat up the feast, at around 10.30pm the Fire Department set up a camp fire that is about 3 to 4 storeys building high. This is the most giant camp fire i had ever seen.
There is a story of old days saying couple of lover (the boy) will jump over the camp fire to show the love and "machoness" of the boy to the girl at this feast. (of course not at the peak of the fire, usually is done at the end when the fire is about to saturate).....anyone out there wanna give it a try ? sound so "macho".....hahaha.

This kind of feast will be celebrate thru out Germany in all villages. Just imagine if the picture is taken from aerial view (the giant camp fire) .....it will be like little hotspot all over Germany.
